Boris Ryabov is the Managing Partner of Bright Capital, an independent venture company. Before joining Bright Capital, Mr. Ryabov was deputy general director of RU-COM, a specialist in investment and industrial asset management, where he initially developed its strategies and managed its business development and reorganization projects. As director for strategic development at the retail pharmacy chain 36.6, Mr. Ryabov led transformative projects that expanded the business tenfold and made it the country’s leading pharmacy chain. Earlier in his career, he held various positions in McKinsey & Co. and JSB Rosbank. In 2001, he graduated from the International Institute of Economic Relations, the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation; in 2004, he defended a thesis with a major in “World Economy” and obtained a degree of Cand. Sc. (Economics). He later graduated from Warwick University in the United Kingdom with a Master of Business Administration degree. Boris has been a member of the Board of Ogin since 2011.
